Miller's Rustic Backyard Wedding

I met Steve and Mandy Christmas 2018 when I took their family portraits for Steve's parents. It was a fun session, right after the Cowboys football game and the WHOLE FAMILY wore Cowboy gear! I knew we were going to get along perfectly! So when they asked me about capturing their backyard wedding, of course I said yes! 

Steve & Mandy's special day was absolutely wonderful! The ceremony was held at a friend's farmhouse in Magnolia, Texas & their vows took place in front of a beautiful pond and fountain. A gorgeous setting for this couple to tie the knot! 

This bride was GLOWING and so excited to be married to her best friend. Friends and family gathered, delicious food was barbecued the night before, and great fun was had by all. 

The day started with hair and makeup while this DIY bride jumped in with the food & drink preparations and her bridesmaids handled the decor and set up. The Groom and his guys were handling the BBQ! After everyone was ready, we snuck away to a first look. Steve was waiting so patiently while Mandy snuck up behind him. He turned and was all smiles looking at his bride! We took the portraits, bridal party, where the guys raced up for a #millertime6620 can of beer, and captured sweet moments with family.  One of the sweetest moments was when Mandy's cousin brought a purple ribbon from their late grandmother for Mandy's bouquet. Another sweet touch were the hair pins Mandy wore from her late momma! All the details were sweet memories and everything flowed into one great wedding day.
